Fashion
Colloquia São Paulo | Dates:
April 11 – 15, 2016 |
 |
The Fashion Colloquia was
established by 4 institutions, connected by their residence and
involvement in the four big 'Fashion weeks' across the globe. These
Institutions were the London College of Fashion - University of the
Arts, London, Domus Academy - Milan, Institute Français de la Mode -
Paris and Parsons the New School for Design, School of Fashion, New
York. The first series of colloquia took place from 2011-2013.
The objective of the colloquia was and still is to attract a rich
variety of contributions from a broad selection of people - from
academia, media and practice - and utilize contributions for
uploading to a newly established international repository for
fashion to be housed at the London College of Fashion, University of
the Arts London.
In April 2016, the colloquia will be held in São Paulo,
Brazil. It will be hosted by the University of São Paulo with the
duration of 5 days. |
